The purpose of the $5,000 scholarship is to assist minority students with costs associated with attending law school. Applicant must be a minority student residing or having a connection to the state of Michigan (e.g. family member(s) residing in the state; previous residence or attendance at a school located in Michigan). Applicants should demonstrate financial need and must provide a statement of goals and aspirations related to their studies in the legal profession. Application deadline is May 1.
