The members of the Chapter DI of Santa Ana established this scholarship in 1988 to assist women in attaining vocational and educational goals that will allow them to re-enter the job market. Applicants for this scholarship shall be considered on the basis of residency. Women from Orange County will be given first priority; women from Southern California will be given next priority, and then considered will be all California residents. To qualify an applicant must have completed for years of high school; have excellent records in scholarship, activities, character and integrity; have a financial need; have definite, realistic educational goal; be a female resident of California. Applications are available in October.
