The $1,000 scholarship is available to law students who are residents of Santa Barbara County at the time of their application. The primary considerations in making this award will be strong academic record, extracurricular activities, leadership potential and financial need. Preference will be given to students who are re-entering the work force, who may be single parents or who may demonstrate a strong commitment to promoting gender equality. Application deadline is March.
