The Pound Civil Justice Institute's Elaine Osborne Jacobson Award

Must be a female student currently enrolled in an accredited American law school on a full- or part-time basis. Candidates should demonstrate through their law school academic and clinic work, an aptitude for and long-term commitment to a legal career of advocacy on behalf of the health care needs of children, women, the elderly or the disabled. To be considered for this award, you must be nominated by your Dean, clinical program director, or law school professor. You must also submit a current curriculum vitae, a brief personal statement, letters of recommendation and a sample of written work. A brief essay may also be required.
