Higher Education Research Experiences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory for Law Students

Law students who have completed their first year are eligible. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

This program provides opportunities to participate in research on legal aspects of energy-related techniques and procedures, national energy-related problems, and efforts related to their solutions. The disciplines that are of interest are environmental and patent law.

The location of the activity is Oak Ridge National Laboratory (Oak Ridge, Tennessee).

The weekly stipend will be $400. One round-trip travel reimbursement allowance will be provided. The duration of the program will be three-months in summer appointments; there will be some appointments during the academic year.

Total stipend: $4,800

In 2007, the deadline for this program was February 5.
