The scholarship was established by the California State Chapter to honor Dorothy L. Weller, past President of California State Chapter. To qualify an applicant must be a first or second year women studying in the field of law, demonstrate financial need, and have excellent records in scholastic ability. Application deadline is February to choose candidates but the awards occur in Fall semester.
