The purpose of this $1,000 scholarship is to provide financial and community support to a local law student who is in good standing and who has demonstrated active community involvement including an involvement in or commitment to women’s issues. Eligible candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria: complete the first year of law school; be a resident of Contra Costa County; attend JFK School of Law; or attend a local law school and plan to practice law in Contra Costa County. Application deadline is October.
